Neda Bahrani is an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, studying Cognitive science and Microbial Cell Biology. Neda has always been motivated by medicine and understanding the biological underpinnings of research aimed at making leaps forward for medicine. She joined Shain Lab in an effort to explore her curiosity in the field of cancer research.

Dr. Aravind Kumar Bandari completed his Ph.D. studies at the Institute of Bioinformatics in Bangalore and obtained his Ph.D. Degree from Manipal Academy of Higher Education in Manipal. His thesis was focussed on the genomics of inherited immune disorders using next generation sequencing. Post Ph.D., he was involved in exploring genomic and proteomics approaches to improve diagnostic and therapeutic options for infectious disease -Tuberculosis. At UCSF, He is currently involved in studying molecular and genetic alterations in skin cancer.

Bishal Tandukar is a postdoctoral research fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Hunter Shain within the Department of Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco. He specializes in skin biology and cancer genomics, applying integrated molecular and computational approaches to investigate the genomic mechanisms driving skin cancer, particularly across diverse populations.
